Peace

                       
Scenarios 1:
Ayo’s a pregnant mum with 3 kids, juggling 3 jobs and no father in the picture but with perfect peace.
Scenario 2:
Bella’s the Choir mistress in her church admired by everyone. She has the perfect husband, perfect kids and her dream job-  a project manager in a multinational Stock Broking company which gives her enough at home time with her family. Yet she has no peace whatsoever and highly depressed.

By earthly and most likely medical standards Bella shouldn't enjoy inner peace. But perfect peace is not something that is gotten or achieved on the basis how rightly your environment or the people around you treat you.

On the contrary perfect peace is only achieved in God. Isaiah 23:3-4 says; "Thou will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the lord forever; for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength"


Your world could be in turmoil and you will still have perfect peace. Why? Is not your fat bank account but because you trust in God. A person’s world could be in chaos but because he trusts in God and keeps his mind on him, he would have peace and be strengthened. You would be surprised at how many people look like they have a perfect life but they have no peace.
Peace is not a condition of no turmoil or no trouble in the external but a condition of hope and assurance in your heart because you have your gaze on God. It is when you are not perturbed by how crazy everything might be but looking through the eyes of faith at your situation. 

Peace is simply gotten when you trust God to do what He has promised. There you will find strength to go on.
We hear people who take their lives . The many have given up. They no longer have the will to live. But, If you strive to believe God no matter the circumstances, You will find the strength to live and forge ahead. " The Bible made it clear that "those who put their trust in the Lord shall be like Mount Zion that can never be moved".

So today, I employ you to give peace a chance. Peace will not come from your possession but from your level of trust in the Lord. Believe His word and find rest because He giveth those He loves to sleep.  Try to have a heart that trusts and focuses on God
