God continue to give me,
grace for the race . . . .
keep giving me strength
for, each new day I face.


Keep me going strong,
help me to do my best
for each day is becoming
more and more of a test.

Help me hold fast,
to the hope I profess
keep my heart sincere
when my sins I confess.

Keep encouraging me,
in all my good works
keep reminding me of
all of my heavenly perks.

God continue to give me,
Your strength and grace
keep my faith strong . . .
so I may finish this race!

Can I really do this? Am I good enough? Will this project work out? Can I ever get this job/contract? How would I know the right man?  These and other undisclosed intimate questions have been fighting for a space in my mind lately breeding fear, worry and anxiety. Paul writes, ‘Let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be’ (Romans 12:6 MSG). If you have to reinvent yourself to keep somebody happy, you’re in the wrong relationship. If they disapprove of you now, do you seriously think marriage will improve things? Not a chance!
