Tip of the Iceberg 1- Bear Good Fruits

Mark 11: 14

" Let no man eat fruit from you ever again"

This verse got me thinking, with Jesus Christ busy schedule, he still paid attention to a common fig tree beside the road. The bible said " He went to see if perhaps he will find something on it"  He expected it to bear fruit even when it wasn't its season. He created it, he knows its capabilities.

It opened my eyes to how importance  our bearing fruit(Good precisely) is to God. If a mere tree couldn’t escape his wrath in that regard, how about we humans that He created in His image.

Think of it this way, God has deposited talents in each one of us to be used for his glory- our ultimate goal on earth.  But we sure have different things tugging at our cloth for our attention every second.

Hence most talents lie undiscovered and unused. Not intentionally but because of procrastination God I know you gave me the voice to sing your praise, but you see I really need to be at my friends birthday party this weekend. I promise I will go for rehersal next week  or God , i know I should be contributing my quota of writeups but you know my job. I will do it tommorrow.

Just imagine  how you will feel and what your response will be when He asks of the result of those talents (because he will check to know if He will find some fruit in us someday)…

Will you be like the man with the 10 and 5 talents or the one with one talent. Those that have, more will be given but those that does not have even the little they have will be taken. You must either be hot for God or cold. He(God) hates lukewarmness. He said, "He will spit them out of his mouth". Most people that will end up on the other side might be as a result of such procrastination too...

Trust me, many are bearing  good  fruits on a daily basis without your knowledge.  Its a personal assignment.

Please, this is just a wake-up call for  us all.  We need to start setting our priorities right before the day of reckoning when wee will individually stand before His throne.

May God help us to bear good fruit unto salvation to His glory  and our Blessing in Jesus name. Amen
