A thankful Heart

Hey guys,

We are so sorry for the break in transmission but really 2016 is finally coming to an end.
A year that started with much anxiety and anticipation for many. A year of drastic change in different sectors of our economy and many governments. Positive or negative you decide.

2016, the year of tomato Ebola after our fight with the real Ebola Virus, Fuel crisis and strategic reserve of magic wand resulting to over a month of fuel scarcity across the country. Then the eventual hike in fuel prize from N95- N145.

The advent of herdsmen killings and continued Boko Haram insurgency, Pipeline Vandalism,  kidnap cases and most important of all the rise of the dollar and  Recession. Food is now prized and scarce commodity in Nigeria.

You might ask, what are we then thankful for?

The Lord assured us in His word that he will provide all our needs according to His riches in glory. and that thousands shall fall at our right hand, ten thousand at our left but they will not come near us.

We are simply thankful that He kept his word.

You can recount how many times God came through for you and yours. Things are hard but you still made money, you didn't park your car, still feed comfortably. Your family didn't relocate to the village. You ply the road that took the lives of many and nothing happened to you. You still prospered like Isaac even in the midst of the recession. Shouldn't you give thanks?

In the Cathedral Youth Church, God provided all our needs during our programmes Instead of burials, it has been smiles all through from countless marriages, to newborn babies, miraculous admission and funding to schools abroad and within and lots more. God kept his covenant of life with us and showered us with His Grace individually and collectively. He opened our eyes and hearts to know Him more this year!

Trust me, many of us experienced great increase than in any other year. I am a living witness.  For that I am thankful.

So, if it was indeed a year of Grace Experience for you, then please do me a favour, before we all chant Happy New tomorrow, find time to try and recount Gods marvellous blessings and sincerely say Thank You!

Compliments of the season and Happy New Year in Advance!
