Tips to succeed in 2017

Happy New Year!

As the joyous shout echoed around, I sat clueless of what to write on. Just couldn’t  put words to my thoughts so, I decided to shut down and a take a break.It paid off because then
the Holy Spirit stepped in.

One major thing in every one’s mind now is how to make 2017 better and more fruitful than 2016.
We all want to be richer, influential, get admission, receive promotion letter, get married, have kids, make a positive impact globally, achieve purpose and in fact, excel in all our endeavors. 

Most of us understand these to be the overall definition of “God’s Grace and Favor”.

So, when we hear that this year will be the year when we will please the Lord, the year when we will grow in the knowledge and understanding of the Lord. A year when the Lord will reveal Himself to us in an unusual dimension. A year when we will experience the Lord, have the tangibility of God’s presence in our lives and grow deeper in the knowledge of our Lord, 

we become sad and secretly discouraged. What about making money and fame. “Na bible we go chop” as some will grumble.

Don’t get me wrong, I am equally guilty of this.


But, recently I understood the secret of prosperity. –Embracing God’s words truthfully. The verse: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing will be added unto you” is not a folk tale.
“If you want to be respected, influential and prosperous, simply put God first in all your endeavours. Respect Him and His words”.- NCCF Papa Chukwuma

Make a conscious effort to:

1.       To seek and understand God in totality this year.
2.       Focus on pleasing Him rather than man and carry out His work faithfully.
3.       Respect Him with what he has blessed you with (we will talk more on this later).
4.       Always Seek Gods guidance in everything just like King David, even as little as what to eat. You will save yourself some deep and costly mistakes.

If you stick to these and many more  can be found in the Word (Check the Bibile), the gates of  heaven will be opened unto you..

Remember, the height of a building determines how deep the foundation will be. So, decide to get deeper understanding of God and He in turn will do what know man can do for you this year. It is a choice.  The Holy Spirit is ever ready to help if we ask -”Sweet Holy Spirit, would you please teach me about Jesus Christ?”

I have decided to focus fully on Christ , the author and finisher of my faith and my surest foundation to a successful 2017.

To achieve lay a firm foundation for success in 2017 you have to  accept the gift of salvation. Just say this prayer sincerely,
” Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner but I come to you today to cleanse me from all unrighteousness with the Blood of Jesus. Give me your Holy Spirit to walk with you. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Personal savior. Thank You, for taking me into your kingdom, In Jesus name, I pray, Amen!"


If you said that prayer, congratulations because your 2017 is sure!
