US Navy Admiral, believes that to change the world, you should start off by making your bed? Do you agree with him? It's touching, It's, inspiring, its just God sent for my Monday morning.
Have a Blessed Week ahead.
Staying power overcomes misunderstanding and rejection. Sometimes the people you count on to support you will actually try to undercut you. When God gives you a vision too big for them to handle, they’ll say, ‘You’re getting too big for your boots,’ and then try to cut you down to size - their size! Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, then went home and told their father he’d been killed by a wild beast. Can you imagine how Joseph felt when someone asked, ‘Tell me about your family’?
“Times are hard,” “times are hard” is the anthem on the lips of most Nigerians. The prices of commodities have skyrocketed. Everyone is adjusting his/her lifestyle and many businesses are closed down until further notice. Food has now become a prized and scarce commodity. Crime is on the rise and unheard cases of suicide is becoming the order of the day. People are just tired. You can then imagine my pain upon seeing a nursing mother begging under the rain & late at night. Guess how much? Just N50 or food from the food vendor across the road! The worst is that most of the people she is begging from only have the option of trekking home famished and cashless. My heart bleeds for my country. On a daily bases, one meets frustrated people roaming the street waiting for who to pounce on. Funny enough, only a punch sends them to an early grave and the culprit to Kirikiri prison.
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh". – Galatians 5:16 If there are any 2 major struggles Christians of our time face, they are sexual lust and drug/alcohol misuse. These sins have so pervaded the church that many have concluded that they cannot be jettisoned. Some have even gone the length of saying that these struggles are an inseparable part of the Christian journey.
