             The lie of Fear  and The unforced rythms of grace
Acts  24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.  24:26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

 "Are you tired? worn out? Burned out on religion?Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life.I'll show you how to take a real rest .Walk with me amd work with me— watch how i do it.Learn the unforced rythms of grace .I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."  Matthew11:28-30 The Message(MSG)28-30.
scenario 1.
Tonye pleaded with her husband over the line " Forgive me! please! i didn't mean for things to have gone this far... Please ...hello ! hello...can you hear...Fred...are you there ...hello..."  at the other end Fred was trying frantically for his wife to hear 
him " Tonye... My Love...I do forgive you...Tonye...can you...Tonye...Listen
...I can hear....I ...Forgive",

 Tonye sat down to ponder what had just happened .She wasn't sure but she thought she had heard Him say, he forgave her...was it possible...or had she been hearing things..
 2 minutes later her friends Faith and fear came knocking. She narrated her predicament  and fear brought in her own opinion.
" Do you actually believe he can for give you!, No way! better don't deceive your self...I'm sure from this moment he would cease to take you as his wife...or who do you think would forgive a wife who cheated on Him not once not twice...but many times...and with different men for that  matter...You better don't deveive yourself that  you're still his wife... If you continue in prosmicuity ,you get punished...if you wait here deceiving yourself that he has or would forgive you and try to be good ...you still face the same punishment because ;he can't forgive you
...better pack you bags and start enjoying your life of prosmicuity to the fullest!"

 " Tonye don't listen to her...Atleast if you're not sure of what your Husband's reply was...atleast we have his letters to you ...and one talked of his forgiveness lets read that!"
Daniel 9:9   To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

 1 John  1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Faith continued" Tonye do you see...do you see that he has forgiven you...since you have told him he has.Don't let fear force you into making a greater 
mistake .Don't let her deceive you into believing there's no way out"

 Fear continued"That Word is not for you...it cant possibly be ...you better ,move out before he gets back and enjoy your life as much as you can"
"Don't listen to her...You know your husband ..you know his love,his patience,his forgiveness. He can't give up on you! you know He loves you."

 Tonye wondered ,who do I listen to.....

we also,sometimes find ourself in dilemma's similar to this.
Where the voice of God seems distant and his forgiveness unattainable.We try to plug in to faith but fear won't let us ,we reason with fear and depression ,hits hard!
what do we do ? We continually ask forgiveness and fear shows us one more reason we can't be forgiven and we give up.Believing we cannot be forgiven. 

 We should hold on to the voice of Faith ,the voice of hope ,the voice of survival...The voice of love ,that tells us ,there's a way.
The voice that urges us to take the strengthening word from God .The voice that urges us to walk out on depression,fear and sin.
God doesn't shun...He's the Loving Husband ready to forgive ready to console ,ready to relieve.He doesn't want to burden you, He wants to relieve you .He wants you to lay in his love ,accept Him and be with Him...He just wants YOU.
