Youth Week


Youth Week 2018 ,is here!! Are you excited? Well if you aren't we've got just the antidote for that. Sit , relax, get a cup of coffee and we'll cook you up one amazing youth week preview!!.

The Theme:CONSECRATED
The Youth week is an annual event that runs for a week plus.It spots ,several exciting,motivating,inspirational, fun ,Spirit building and fellowship encouraging activities .
Every youth week has a theme that guides and gives our activities Godly focus and guidance and the theme of this year being consecrated!!

The 2018 youth week began with " IMmerse" ;A Morning with the Holy Spirit; which was more like a retreat at the youth Church after which the youths started the "walk" which was to announce the beggining of the youth week to all and sundry .It was dancing, singing  and fun filled (also was an excellent opportunity to burn off calories-trust me it works!)














If You weren't there...let's just say "what a pity"...

Moving on ,next we had the sports competition (semi finals )at LASUTH field. This was on the 11th of august 2018
That was amazing!!!

 the four family groups had competed against each other in various Sport activities  for the trophy for first place . Finals were held at the church field on the 18th of august 2018.


At the end of it all Faith family came in first place

Lords favoured-third
Triumphant-fourth



And just for the record Agape came first in soccer!

moving on... The cooking competition was also held on that same day with 
                                 Agape coming first

Faith-fourth.

Next was the cultural heritage Sunday .Which also spotted a competition on instagram.  follow @CYF AVMCC

On the 20th of July was the Discovery and training series held at the youth Chapel.




on the 21st of July Tuesday  was the Bible study and it was both Spirit lifting ,encouraging ,corrective and practical .The topic was  "When Christians arise"

22nd of July is tagged"Stones speaking" Wednesday prayer meeting.

Thursday is the youth hangout
 (did that get a whoop!whoop!!)
Well the youths are going to be having a hangout this Thursday at whispering palms for a fee of #1000.
Don't even dream of missing it.

The event will include various activities :treasure hunt and games.

Friday 24th of July is our "Drama NITE!!!!" (Notice the spelling)

Saturday is our musical concert our very own choir and Efe Nathan!!!

 Will be ministering.

Sunday 26th of august 2018. Is the  youth harvest thanks giving!!!!
